When my friend Ashley approached me recently about participating in a letterpressing event with AIGA Atlanta, at Atlanta Printmaker's Studio, I said, "Sign me up!" Not only have I always wanted to try my hand at letterpressing, I have always wanted to check out APS. What a great way to do both!
We had an awesome time at the event, and it was great to see the excitement on everyone's faces after they printed their first card. I printed my main batch of cards on a Chandler & Price printer from 1899 that you had to pedal with your foot! In this age of digital printing, it was really cool to use such an old tool to print!
Below is a picture of my artwork and some of the finished cards! I really hope I have the opportunity to letterpress again in the near future!

Some recent commissions
Hello all! I have done a few more commissions lately and thought I would share! First is a portrait for my friend Lacey. Her friends that got married are big Alabama fans, so she wanted a Roll Tide theme portrait to give them as a wedding gift.
The second is for a friend from high school's wedding program. They are getting married in July in Florida, so they thought it would be great to have a fan as their wedding program. I will post pics of the completed fan after the big day!
