Concept art

Starting some concept work on a project with a writer friend...I won't go into details because that's not mine to reveal, but the direction for girl is a "scenester, kinda emo chick. The girl every indie guy wants to date and then realizes is a total biatch." The guy, a "doesn't-give-a-crap rocker type, a-la Julian Casablancas from the Strokes."

I like the way the guy is looking, especially...probably cause I like drawing guys a lot more than girls! :)

busy busy busy!

Wow, I feel like this week my hand might as well be glued to a pen! (or wacom!) Besides sketching a lot at work, I have been illustrating a story written by Andy for his friend who is binding it all together for a bookbinding class project! Here are a few of the drawings so far... eventually I will hopefully have pictures of it all put together as a book! I like how this is turning out, its been a while since I have drawn in anything other than sketchbook pro!

Tomorrow it is day 1 of the trek back to Ohio. It has been a great quarter...so sad to be leaving the team at The First Years, but I am excited to see where the last few months of school/graduation take me! Maybe back to Boston??
